"Horică" is one of the former Star players who chose to stay in the team's technical staff. He made his junior at our club and became the national champion with his first team in 1994 when he evolved and scored Marius Lacatus in a game won by Steaua in Braila.
Also as a player he became the UEFA Champions League Balkan Champion in 1994 and has also played for Student Sports, FC Baia Mare and Poiana Campina. He graduated from ANEFS in 1999, when he coached PRO Luceafarul, Horea hired Steaua in 2001, where he prepared various clubs for children and juniors.
During 2004-2006 he was second coach of the national junior team 1987, and in 2006 he graduated Physical Training Courses.
Starting January 1, 2007, he is part of the staff of Star's first team as a physical trainer. He has won, to date, a Romanian Cup (2011), two championship titles (2013, 2014) and the Romanian Super Cup (2013).
In the summer of 2014 he went to Al Hilal, alongside Laurentiu Reghecampf, but returned to Steaua in early July 2015.
